The Morion Hat is named after an open-faced combat helmet originating in Spain. Used during the beginning of the 16th and 17th centuries, the Morion has been a source of inspiration for helmet design all around the world.

Today, it is interpreted by Free Maison as a traditional skull cap. Created entirely out of multiple chainmail weaves, this is a metal textile which comfortably fits around the head.
